Tracey joined KPMG Law in November 2021 to lead the Company Secretarial and Global Entity Management practice. Tracey is a governance professional and company secretary with over 23 years’ experience. Tracey specialises in corporate governance, legal entity management plus transactional activities such as IPO’s, mergers, disposals and acquisitions. Tracey joined KPMG following a successful career building award winning company secretarial practices.

Tracey’s experience includes:

  • Company secretary of various listed companies since 1999, providing the full secretariat service including board support to the plc, annual report ownership/responsibility, AGM ownership/responsibility, managing stakeholder relationships across central operations, owning governance workstreams for transactions. director training and advising on the UK Corporate Governance Code, the Market Abuse Regime, the Listing Rules and Disclosure & Transparency Guidance Rules.
  • Global entity compliance, the implementation of centralised models to achieve best practice in the governance of company data, involving technology and team expertise. —Leading governance workstreams for IPO’s in numerous sectors for companies achieving FTSE 250 market capital, small and mid cap and AIM listings and with specialist knowledge of the Listed Funds market.
  • Advising Company Secretaries and General Counsel on best practice for their internal secretariat functions.
  • Delivery of training to a variety of governance audiences, board members – both executive and non-executive and to company secretaries at all levels of development.
