Ben Travers has been the Head of Tax & Legal for KPMG Asia Pacific since April 2026 and is the Head of Tax & Legal at KPMG Australia.
He’s also a member of KPMG Australia’s National Executive Committee and the Global Tax & Legal steering group.
Working closely with teams across Australia and KPMG’s global network, Ben has consistently helped clients navigate local and global challenges by combining deep technical capabilities with data led insights. His leadership continues to drive the use of technology and analytics to re imagine how tax and legal services are delivered, helping clients respond confidently to today’s demands while preparing for the future.
Prior to his current role, Ben led KPMG Australia’s People Services team, bringing more than 20 years of advisory experience across performance and reward, global mobility, pay equity and workforce strategy. He has worked with leading organizations across technology, financial services, health, energy, property and consumer goods.
Additionally, Ben has worked with leading technology, financial services, health, energy, property and consumer goods organizations, and is a leader in the merger and acquisitions area. His role as a member of KPMG’s Global Tax & Legal executive team gives him an informed view on global trends.
Outside of work, Ben enjoys staying active, following Liverpool in the Premier League, and spending time with family and friends around the world, often over good food and wine.
