María Julia has been a Senior Manager in KPMG Chile for the past 2 years. She is also ESG Deputy in the South American Cluster for KPMG, leading the development of the ESG services in eight countries in South America. María Julia has covered the UN Climate Change Conference (COP) for more than 5 years in a row. In 2018, she was awarded a fellowship by the Climate Tracker fund to cover COP24 in Poland. In 2016, she was awarded by the "Dag Hammarskjöld" fellowship to cover the UN General Assembly in the United States as part of the UN Associated Press. From 2021 to 2022 she cover the UN Climate Conference as part of KPMG team, representing Latin America. In addition, she has worked as a journalist for media outlet in differten such as Clarín (Argentina), El Cronista (Argentina), La Razón (Bolivia), La Región Prensa (Bolivia), DF (Chile), and ComunicarSe (Chile and Argentina). She has also collaborated on research teams for studies such as KPMG Chile's Survey Reporting ESG 2023 and ComunicarSe Latam's Financing for the Circular Economy in Latin America.
