Liang has over 15 years of experience providing modelling and analytics services to clients. He works across a broad range of clients and in particular has extensive experience with large listed and private corporate clients in multiple sectors, including power and utilities, energy and natural resources, aerospace and defence, life sciences, and telecom, media and technology. Liang is responsible for the provision of a full range of financial model advisory (‘model build’) and model testing (‘model audit’) services.
Liang has a special interest in the power and utilities sector, having worked with both regulators (Water Services Regulation Authority (Ofwat) and Office of Gas and Electricity Markets (Ofgem)) and regulated utilities on cost modelling, regulatory modelling and shareholder valuation modelling.
Liang also specialises in designing tactical modelling solutions that support clients’ decision making and critical financial processes, including budgeting and forecasting, financial reporting, accounting and tax.
