Our clients (and us as well) are operating in a challenging environment that requires fundamental changes in the way we go about running our businesses. Imagining that change, articulating it well and ensuring we can make the change is what transformation is to me. It could be large scale (organisation wide) or small scale (a function), transformational change is always fundamental and difficult.
Introducing Nikhil (Nik) Sethi
Nik brings a deep understanding of outcomes that clients are seeking, and the ability to bring together the ‘best of the KPMG network’ to serve clients towards those outcomes.
What does transformation mean to you?
What motivates you every day?
Having opportunity to improve what is around us and the ability to make an impact is something that gives me purpose, hence motivates me daily.
How do you make the difference?
At one level it is about having a pragmatic understanding of what can drive the change at scale, and then to show up every day (by holding self and others accountable) to implement the change.
How do you like to spend your time when you are not working?
I have varied interests ranging from reading to trying new foods to playing some sport to spending meaningful time with the family (especially the kids) to bumming around and doing absolutely nothing. Nothing is really fixed – I prefer to go with what’s interesting to me at that point of time.
