Enterprises must transform to respond and adapt to the ever-changing business environment

Introducing Abhijit Atale

Abhijit specialises in driving transformational initiatives across sectors such as telecom, media, energy and utilities, and , retail and logistics. He believes that a collaborative design thinking-led approach can bring out the best results for clients.

What does transformation mean to you?

Transformation is necessitated by the changing business environment in which an enterprise operates. New technologies, ecosystems, and continuous re-balancing of market forces means that enterprises must continuously adapt to the ever-changing business environment. That means re-looking at organizational ways of working, strengths, weaknesses to make necessary changes to stay relevant and grow in the future.

Transformation for me is any activity or initiative which is undertaken at an enterprise to realign itself with current and future market demands.

What motivates you every day?

Client conversations is what I look forward to every day, this is what keeps me going day after day.

Engaging in a dialogue with clients to understand their business, identify potential areas for improvement and co-create suitable approach, is what I find most motivating.

How do you make the difference?

I focus on co – creation for any transformation initiative, where all stakeholders feel heard and can work together.

I suppose the difference I strive to achieve is not just giving the right solution to the client, but also bringing in organisational alignment amongst stake holders so that the client organisation, can reap best benefits from the proposed transformation program.

How do you like to spend your time when you are not working?

I like to listen to music when I am at home. Gazals are my favorite. Off late I have also been enjoying walking regularly and doing yoga to keep fit.
