    • Client

      State Government in India

    • Primary goal

Focusing on upgrading and scaling the Crime and Criminal Tracking Network & Systems (CCTNS) to improve policing efficiency and effectiveness

    • Outcome

KPMG in India’s intervention led to significant advancements in the CCTNS project

    The opportunity

The CCTNS, implemented as a ‘Mission Mode Project (MMP)’, aimed to create a integrated system to enhance policing at all levels, particularly at the police station level, through e-Governance principles. By 2010-11, the client recognised the need to scale up the project infrastructure and enhance the existing software to enable integration with multiple systems. KPMG India was engaged to facilitate this transition and ensure the project's successful execution.

Enabled seamless data transfer among components of the Inter-operable Criminal Justice System (IJCS) through API-based integration support.

    • Training and capacity building

Conducted training and capacity-building sessions for stakeholders across various pillars of the system to assist in effective implementation and utilisation.
