Balt has over 10 years of audit and assurance services experience and has exposure in consumer markets, financial services and listed companies in the Philippines, Isle of Man and United Kingdom.

Prior to joining the KPMG Islands Group (KIG), in the Isle of Man practice, Balt was a manager in the Private Enterprise practice of KPMG UK and has been involved in a number of AQR scope engagements of the FRC.

Balt has also been involved in a number of audit quality, audit monitoring and audit compliance functions both in the Isle of Man and the United Kingdom. His current role within KIG encompass the provision of audit support to engagement teams through audit quality and compliance reviews mostly on entities with high public profile and companies that are listed in any market exchange. Balt also provides support to engagement teams through consultation (both formal and informal) and provides the necessary technical training within the audit department of KIG.
