Barry Ryan is a Partner in the audit practice of KPMG in the Crown Dependencies, based in the Guernsey office.
Barry has extensive experience leading the audits of listed and unlisted traditional and alternative investment Funds, including asset managers, private equity houses, administrators, hedge funds and fund of funds. He has extensive experience in advising both onshore and offshore funds, many of whom have complex structures and policies, and who utilise IFRS, US GAAP and UK GAAP.
Barry is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland, a member of the GSCCA Executive Committee, Chair of the GSCCA training and courses sub-committee and a member of KPMG’s Private Equity Group.
