Bhavesh is currently the Risk Management Leader (RML) for the MESAC region and also Head of Financial Services, KPMG in Kuwait. In his role as the MESAC RML, Bhavesh is responsible for the implementation of consistent and robust risk management processes across the MESAC member firms.
Experience
Bhavesh has over 20 years of Big 4 experience in providing assurance and related services to national, regional and international banks and other financial institutions.
Before joining KPMG in 2011, Bhavesh worked at another Big 4 firm in Bahrain where he was part of the external audit practice. He was also engaged in providing accounting advice to clients on range of International Financial Reporting Standards (such as goodwill impairment, classification and valuation of financial instruments), including hands on experience in researching complex accounting and auditing issues.
Bhavesh led audits of several large banks with operations across various geographies. He also provided financial advisory to clients on a range of International Financial Reporting Standards (such as goodwill impairment, financial instruments classification and valuation), including hands on experience in researching complex accounting and auditing issues.
