We were pleased to host our Family Office and Private Client Webinar on 29 April 2024.

The UK’s Spring Budget of 6 March 2024 proposed fundamental reform of the UK’s non-dom regime which would see the removal of domicile as a concept, replacing the remittance basis of taxation and a move to an entirely residency based system of taxing income, gains and applying UK inheritance tax.

To consider any announcements on the UK’s tax administration and maintenance day on 18 April 2024 and assess the changes that may apply to non-dom individuals, trustees of offshore trust and company structures and any potential planning opportunities, KPMG will be holding an online webinar on 29 April at 3:00pm (GMT).

Agenda

  • The end of the non-dom regime and IHT reform explained and what this means for new and existing non-doms.
  • What you need to know following the UK’s Tax Administration and Maintenance Day on 18 April 2024.
  • Making sense of the UK Spring Budget proposals by way of real-life case studies
  • Insights and guidance for offshore trustees.

Speakers

Head of Family Office and Private Client, Paul Beale will lead the session with technical input from Justine Howard, Katie Kneale, Harry Malet de Carteret and Joseph Milward, from KPMG in the Crown Dependencies.
