At KPMG we take pride in providing the best opportunities to people starting a new career in financial services. Whether you’re a school leaver, at university thinking about life after graduation, or you’re just looking for a change – our paid internship scheme focuses on developing your professional skills and providing an invaluable insight into life at KPMG.

We have one internship programme running throughout the summer, in our audit, tax or advisory departments. The programme starts from 8 July 2024 in Jersey and Guernsey, and from 22 July in the Isle of Man, running from 4 to 8 weeks. The scheme is designed to equip you with the skills and experience needed to kickstart a career in financial services. You’ll be appointed a buddy as your direct contact to provide any advice and guidance you may need. If all goes well you could even land yourself a job offer!

Our previous interns have gone on to develop successful careers in audit, tax and advisory.

Why choose KPMG?

We’re all about creating a culture where our people can thrive and make their mark both in their career and in their community. We embrace diversity and a flexible approach to work, making sure everyone feels empowered and can bring their authentic selves into their job.

Our staff are friendly and always available to help where needed. They say the best workplaces are where you work with your friends, and many of our colleagues make their friends for life at KPMG. During your internship you’ll have the opportunity to have some fun and get to know our people better on one of our many social events.

We also care deeply about our island communities. Throughout the year our staff are encouraged to take part in various citizenship activities, as part of our ongoing commitment to help make sure our islands remain wonderful places in which to live.

These can include beach cleans, charity sporting events, or simply dressing up in the office for some good old-fashioned fundraising!

We also host an annual Away Day for all staff – a well-being day where everyone has the option to take part in a variety of activities. Recent away days have included a chocolate-making experience, boat trips, and adventure parks.
