Are you building the future of tomorrow, today?

Since 2013, we have been celebrating the trailblazers, difference makers and tech entrepreneurs of tomorrow – bringing together the best of tech and innovation in the UK.

If you are a fast-growing scaleup business from early stage to accelerated growth, we invite you to pitch your innovations and present your growth ambitions to regional, national and global industry experts.

The opportunity gets even bigger - for the fifth year, our search to find the next tech titan has gone global – including at least 20 other countries across most key regions of the world.

If you're ready to push the limits and take your tech innovation to the next level, we want to hear from you!

Pimloc is dedicated to visual privacy and security. The risks associated with video surveillance have fundamentally shifted - we are all unknowingly giving away our freedom by walking down the street, entering a store, going to work or watching a sports game. To counter this, Pimloc is developing systems that will allow businesses and public organizations to increase security and extract valuable intelligence without compromising personal privacy.

Winning the London heat in such a competitive tech ecosystem is a proud moment for the whole Pimloc team, but it's only the beginning. The world is generating vast amounts of sensitive data that organisations struggle to protect and use. We do both. One platform, one standard of accountability, wherever the data goes. We intend to set that standard globally, and we are looking forward to competing in the final.

      Simon Randall, CEO

SCI delivers end-to-end supply chain solutions, from certifications and audits to compliance, risk management, and environmental impact reduction.

We are incredibly proud to have won the Yorkshire and North East regional heat.

SCI has spent years working directly with retailers and supply chains, and what we are now seeing is a major shift from audits and estimated reporting towards real-time operational evidence that can be substantiated. For us, this recognition from KPMG is exciting because it validates that the problem we are solving matters, not just commercially, but strategically. I am also personally delighted for the SCI team. Much of what we are building has come from solving real-world problems with customers, so it is rewarding to see that recognised in such a meaningful way.

Zelim develops AI-powered man overboard detection systems and maritime safety and security technology to protect lives, vessels and offshore assets at sea.

2026 started off with a bang for Zelim, with major contract wins across the cruise, ferry and offshore energy sectors, as well as recently launching the world's first Type Approved man overboard detection system. The business is really building momentum now, and winning the Scotland heat of the UK Tech Innovator award amongst such high caliber tech companies, is fantastic recognition for our team. It’s testament to the hard work and dedication that has gone into reaching these milestones. We look forward to the UK final and hope we can bring home the win for Scotland.

We’re incredibly proud to have been selected to represent the South Central region at the KPMG UK Tech Innovator final. At Digostics, we are focused on addressing real-world barriers in diagnostic pathways, improving both accuracy and accessibility, because earlier and more reliable diagnosis has the potential to improve outcomes for patients and reduce pressure on health systems. It’s particularly encouraging to see innovation in women’s health and preventative care receiving this level of recognition.

      Hugo Tewson, Chair

High Temperature Material Systems mission is to revolutionise the high temperature composite materials market, through continuous innovation.

"I'm delighted to have won the regional heat. This achievement reflects a tremendous amount of hard work in growing HTMS and delivering high temperature composites for our customers. I'd like to thank KPMG, the judges, and the other outstanding businesses involved. I'm bringing your positive energy into the final in June!

We’re incredibly proud to win the Southwest & Wales regional final of the KPMG Tech Innovator competition. At RIG Corp, we’re proving that heavy industry and environmental innovation can go hand in hand by transforming waste streams into valuable resources while reducing landfill, transport emissions and the environmental impact of major infrastructure sectors. This recognition is a huge endorsement of the work our team is doing alongside partners including the University of Plymouth and Innovate UK, particularly around bioremediation and sustainable dredging solutions. We’re excited to represent the region at the national final and continue demonstrating how UK industrial innovation can solve globally significant environmental challenges.

urfuture is the number one job platform for young people, revolutionising the career search for job seekers across the UK. Designed for Gen Z, the urfuture app utilises AI, behavioural science, and personalised profiles to connect users with roles that match their personality, values, and aspirations - eliminating the need for traditional CVs.

Winning the KPMG UK Tech Innovator regional final is a proud moment for the entire urfuture team and a significant milestone in our journey. We're on a mission to transform how young people discover jobs and how employers identify potential. For decades, entry-level hiring has relied heavily on CVs, keywords and traditional attraction methods. We're building a different approach – meeting young people where they spend their time online and matching them opportunities they may not have considered before based on who they are, while enabling employers to make faster and fairer defensible hiring decisions. To be recognised by KPMG and a panel of industry experts is fantastic validation of that vision. We're excited to represent the region at the national final in London and continue demonstrating how technology can create better outcomes for both young people and employers.
