Wayne Lai is the Chief Digital Officer and partner at KPMG Taiwan. His expertise includes formulating digital innovative transformation and technology strategy, orchestrating enterprise innovative data framework, data governance and helping businesses to achieve for better.

As the CDO, he assists KPMG Taiwan Audit and Tax departments in establishing a digital transformation blueprint and developing strategic priorities. He also actively connects KPMG global vision and resources to Taiwan to keeps pace with the everchanging business trends.

As a leader of the customer growth and digital innovation consulting team, he's committed to creating a digital and AI transformation journey with customers, employees, and stakeholders’ best interests in mind through a human-centric way.

He hosts the Podcast "CDO’s Meeting Room" where he invites business leaders to share latest market trends and business stories. He’s also a columnist at a leading Taiwanese business media “Global Views Monthly”.

Wayne is currently serving as a member of the AI and Digital Committee of The General Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of China, Cloud Computing & IoT Association in Taiwan Committee Deputy Chairperson and as a director at FinTech Industry Development Association.
