The conference will bring together indirect tax leaders and luminaries from many of the largest global organizations, along with KPMG tax professionals who are passionate about managing and championing change in an evolving indirect tax landscape. This is an invite-only event, which is being extended to a select group of leaders around the world. Themed, “From Ancient Rome to Modern AI – A Journey Through the Future of Indirect Taxes to 2030”, the conference aims to convene indirect tax leaders and luminaries from many of the largest global organizations, together with KPMG tax professionals who are passionate about managing and championing change in an evolving indirect tax landscape.

Through a series of plenary and in-depth collaboration sessions with both external and KPMG Global Indirect Tax subject matter specialists, and industry leaders, attendees will have the opportunity to share their experiences and perspectives on the evolving indirect tax landscape and consider the relevance to the broader business agenda. The sessions will explore the ever-evolving indirect tax policy landscape, generative AI; e-invoicing, and the impact of technology on operating models.

  • The registration fee for the 2025 KPMG Global Indirect Tax Conference is EUR 2,500 per person (inclusive of VAT). The registration fee covers the attendance at all plenary, roundtable, and in-depth collaboration sessions, conference lunches and dinner.
  • An additional accommodation charge for the A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel, Rome of EUR 150 per night (plus VAT at 10% and City Tax at EUR 7.50) applies and includes breakfast. All other incidentals including travel costs to and from the venue are to be borne by attendees.

The nearest airports for A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel, Rome are:

  • Ciampino Airport, is approximately 29 kilometers (18 miles) away from A Roma Hotel. Travel time is approximately 45 minutes, and a taxi should cost approximately EUR 50.
  • Fiumicino Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport, is approximately 23 kilometers (14.5 miles) away from A.Roma Lifestyle Hotel. Travel time is approximately 30 minutes, and a taxi should cost approximately EUR 35.
  • Termini Railway Station is only 10 km (6 miles) from the hotel and can be easily reached by car in about 20/30 minutes. Alternatively, a bus service is available. Take bus H from Piazza Biagio Pace and get off directly at Termini railway station, after a journey of approximately 40 minutes. A taxi should cost approximately EUR 25.


You will need to make your own arrangements for travel to and around A.Roma Lifestyle hotel. However, on Wednesday 12 February, buses will be departing at 4:15 pm for Rome Fiumicino Airport. If you would like a place on the bus, please book through your registration.
