      Meet the finalists

      TissueLabs is a biofabrication company building the full technology stack for engineering human tissues. It's vertically integrated platform combines advanced 3D bioprinting systems, tissue-specific biomaterials, and AI-powered cloud software to enable researchers to design, fabricate, and study more human-relevant tissues. Today, TissueLabs technologies are used by more than 300 institutions across 30+ countries. The company’s roadmap progresses from enabling biofabrication research, to developing functional 3D tissue models, to ultimately engineering transplantable tissues and organs, with a bioartificial human heart as its long-term goal.​

      OroraTech has developed a nanosatellite constellation equipped with multispectral imagers in the thermal infrared and visible light range. By combining a patent-pending CubeSat framework with a customized optical system and on-orbit pre-processing capabilities, OroraTech will deliver high-quality satellite images and create real-time information for wildfire detection and mapping, severe weather forecasting, and many other applications

      Cosmoserve Space is addressing the growing challenge of space debris by providing Deorbit-as-a-Service through a robotic spacecraft capable of capturing unprepared and dead satellites. Cosmoserve’s solution combines biomimetic soft robotic petals, autonomous spacecraft intelligence, and a reusable dual-spacecraft architecture.

      The system consists of two spacecraft: Reviver, a robotic servicing vehicle, and Mothercraft, an orbital depot that enables refuelling of the Reviver. After commissioning into base orbit, Reviver performs phased rendezvous using optical sensor suite consisting of cameras and laser-based instruments. Once the target debris enters the capture envelope and the relative velocity between the two spacecraft is nearly zero, the soft robotic petals gently capture the target debris. After capture is achieved, Reviver executes a controlled deorbit to safely dispose of the debris in Earth’s atmosphere.

      Upon completion of one mission, Reviver autonomously returns to Mothercraft for refueling and preparation for subsequent missions. This reusable architecture allows a single system to service multiple targets, significantly reducing the cost of debris removal and support long term preservation of Earth’s orbital environment.

      RAINBOW was founded by neurosurgeons at Hokkaido University with more than 25 years of experience in stem cell research. Its founding team includes international KOL in regenerative medicine for neurological disorders. The company has developed an automated, closed-system manufacturing platform that enables the scalable, cost-effective production of high-quality stem cell products with consistent quality, supporting commercial manufacturing.

      A Phase II clinical trial is currently underway for patients with chronic ischemic stroke and severe motor impairment. Regulatory approval in Japan is anticipated by 2031, followed by expansion into the United States, Europe, and other global markets.

      Creating circular value chains for plastic fiber waste. Renewable Energy Semiconductor Manufacturing. Healix BV is a clean tech start-up that intends to close the loop for plastic fiber waste. We produce Healix®, a family of branded infinity polymers derived from plastic waste which is primarily collected in and around the marine environment. By collecting, sorting, shredding, washing and reprocessing used twines, ropes, nets and other plastic fiber waste, we create pristine infinity polymers for the global manufacturing supply chain.

APS™ enables chipmakers to manufacture advanced semiconductor devices in a more cost-effective and sustainable way by extending the capabilities of existing lithography infrastructure. Through a combination of specialized hardware and process technology, APS™ reduces process complexity, lowers capital investment requirements, and minimizes energy, chemical, and water consumption. The solution offers a scalable path to sub-10 nm feature sizes, helping semiconductor manufacturers increase productivity, reduce environmental impact, and accelerate the production of next-generation logic and memory devices.​

      Zelim develops advanced maritime safety and security systems that improve detection, response and recovery in critical incidents at sea. Operating across cruise and ferry, offshore energy and defence, the company combines computer vision, video analytics and robust hardware to deliver practical, scalable safety solutions for complex marine environments. Its flagship system, ZOE, provides continuous monitoring of a vessel surroundings, enabling instantaneous detection and tracking of people in the water and other hazards often missed by radar or AIS. Designed for real-world operations, ZOE enhances situational awareness on the bridge and supports faster, more effective decision making in time-critical scenarios.
