Philip Takken is a Partner at KPMG Netherlands and serves as KPMG’s Global Telecommunications Audit Sector Leader. With more than 30 years of professional experience, including over 20 years dedicated to the telecommunications sector, Philip advises and audits some of the world's leading telecommunications companies. He currently serves as Lead Audit Partner for major telecom operators in the Netherlands, including VodafoneZiggo.
Philip has extensive international experience, having worked for more than ten years in New York, followed by eight years in Singapore and Australia, before returning to the Netherlands. Throughout his career, he has supported clients across the telecommunications ecosystem, including mobile network operators, wireline and cable providers, infrastructure and tower companies, cloud and data center operators, and equipment manufacturers.
In addition to leading complex global audits, Philip provides accounting advisory services and acts as a telecommunications subject matter expert on strategic transactions and financial due diligence engagements. He is passionate about helping telecommunications organizations navigate industry transformation, regulatory developments, and evolving stakeholder expectations while maintaining the highest standards of audit quality.
