Chad is the KPMG in the US, Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) Line of Business Leader, helping some of KPMG firms’ largest and most sophisticated TMT clients solve business challenges and realize sustained value. He has been with KPMG in the US for 28 years, working in the Silicon Valley, San Francisco, Zurich and San Antonio offices.
As the TMT Line of Business Leader, Chad leads the go-to-market efforts across key areas such as digital transformation, analytics and AI, performance optimization, cyber and privacy, risk and compliance, ESG, regulatory change and the future of work across KPMG in the US. His responsibilities include helping set TMT industry strategy, developing leading cross-functional teams, enhancing solution strategies, and driving innovation. Chad does this in collaboration with senior TMT industry professionals, marketing and sales teams, and alliance partners.
Previously, Chad led the TMT Consulting and Deal Advisory & Strategy practices in KPMG in the US and was responsible for growing market share with leading corporations and private equity funds. He has led more than 500 M&A transactions across TMT, including significant enterprise software, internet/online, consumer technology, digital services and technology infrastructure experience. These transactions included complex acquisitions, divestitures, and IPOs and other capital raises. While in M&A, Chad also co-led the Financial Due Diligence practice and led the overall go-to-market function for Deal Advisory & Strategy.
Chad has significant international experience having led more than 150 cross-border deals between the US and Europe, Canada, Asia and Central/South America. Chad also lived and worked in Zurich, Switzerland for nearly two years.
