Matt Kramer is the National Sector Leader (NSL), Consumer and Retail (C&R) for KPMG US. Matt is responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the firm’s work for the C&R sector which includes many of the world’s largest companies. Matt focuses on helping companies solve complex and global business challenges leveraging the depth of KPMG’s resources in consulting, deal advisory and strategy, tax and audit.

Matt also served as the National Risk Consulting industry Leader for the C&R sector, where he coordinated national teams in responding to client needs in enterprise risk, internal controls, technology risk and internal audit.

Functionally, Matt is an Advisory Partner. He specializes in providing internal audit outsourcing and co-sourcing services, Sarbanes-Oxley assistance services, internal audit establishment and development, enterprise risk management, contract compliance, data analytics and leading practice reviews.

Matt was previously the regional Market Hub Managing Partner for Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky where he served as lead partner for several Consumer and Retail clients. Matt has led KPMG’s Board Leadership Center Directors’ Roundtable and frequently attends Audit Committees and Board Meetings as an advisor.
