Tobias Flockert is a Senior Manager in the Financial Services division, specialising in credit risk management. For over ten years, he has been helping banks and other financial services providers to efficiently integrate regulatory requirements under Pillar 1 and Pillar 2 with accounting requirements. His particular focus is on developing integrated model landscapes that create transparency, reduce operational complexity and enable effective risk management.
With many years’ experience in implementing regulatory and accounting frameworks, Tobias brings in-depth expertise on regulatory capital requirements, risk metrics and their translation into financial reporting.
He has led numerous major projects in the areas of IRB and IFRS 9 and is in charge of the Centre of Excellence for Portfolio Models (Pillar 2) at KPMG. He thus combines in-depth expertise with extensive experience in the successful management of complex transformation projects.
