Aline received a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business at the ESB Business School in Reutlingen, Germany. Already in 2013 Aline gained her first major experience in the automotive industry in China and since 2014 she is working in the Global Automotive Sector team at KPMG. Aline is engaged with various thematic clusters within the automotive sector. This includes for instance business model innovations also in the course of her 2014 Bachelor Thesis with the title: ’Ambidexterity in the Automotive Industry: Understanding how OEMs can use ambidexterity to encourage innovations in the evolution of the connected car.’ Since 2015 she is also part of the Deal Advisory, Valuation division at KPMG and supported at projects like modelling of a future market strategy of a leading multi-brand automobile group in Europe at the example of a southern European market with the use of advanced Data Analytics tools. Since 2014 Aline works in the team of the Global, EMA and German Chair of KPMG’s Automotive practice and supports in the expansion of the KPMG Automotive Institute focusing on Data & Analytics as well as the development of KPMG’s global automotive studies “Metalsmith or Grid Master“ or „KPMG’s Global Automotive Executive Survey“ (2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019). Since mid-2016 she holds the position of the EMA Executive for Automotive and as of mid-2018, she is also the Global Executive for Automotive.
