Phil Charles

Phil is the Head of Enterprise for Scotland and also an Audit Partner focussed on working with growing and entrepreneurial businesses. He has significant experience of working with private equity management teams, helping them grow and ultimately sell their businesses. Similarly, he has assisted family businesses with establishing appropriate risk and governance structures. As Head of Enterprise, Phil co-ordinates all of KPMG’s services to entrepreneurial and owner-managed businesses in Scotland. Our focus in the Enterprise team is to understand the direction and strategy of businesses and any risks which may prevent management from achieving their goals. We maintain regular contact with our clients so we can help and advise on these issues and opportunities as they arise.
