As Global Head of Deal Advisory, Liz leads a network of 18,000 professionals, supporting clients with their transactions and transformation strategic journeys with value at the heart, underpinned by data and technology and deep functional and sector expertise.

As Global Head of Life Sciences, Liz leads a network of 4,500 professionals who provide Audit, Tax and Advisory services to the world’s leading pharmaceutical, biotech, medical device, and other companies in the sector. 

In her Vice Chair role, Liz supports the Chair of the UK firm’s Board who is responsible for overseeing its strategy and holding its leadership to account. Additionally, Liz is proudly a brand ambassador and co-chairs the Senior Business Women’s Network. Liz was also a member of UK ExCo for four years; the leadership team responsible for executing the firm’s Board-approved strategy. 

She is a dedicated leader, mentor and advocate for inclusion, diversity and equality. She has also led the Deal Advisory and Life Sciences practices in the UK firm. 

Experience

Liz is a trusted advisor to senior business leaders spanning multiple sectors. Having joined the Audit graduate program, Liz has spent the majority of her 30-year career at KPMG within Transaction Services. She has served in the Global Lead Partner role for a number of accounts across the consumer and life sciences sectors. Liz acted in this capacity for a multinational pharmaceutical and biotechnology company for more than 10 years and advised on many of the company’s largest and most complex global deals, including significant non-core divestment programs, strategic acquisitions, and joint ventures.

Liz is the author of KPMG publications on topics that include transactions and strategic transformations, life sciences, diversity, inclusion, and equity-based dealmaking, and acquisitions. She is also a well-regarded keynote speaker at industry events.

    • Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
