As Climate Finance Lead, KPMG International, Cathy has over ten years of experience in designing award-winning climate and infrastructure policies across advanced, emerging, and developing economies. She specializes in mobilizing public and private capital for the energy transition, including the UK government’s £7.7 million energy program in India.

      Cathy is a World Economic Forum Fellow on climate finance innovation and nominee for an industry-wide Thought Leader of the Year award. Cathy has worked with investors, corporates, the United Nations, multilateral development banks, and government agencies on blended finance, infrastructure investment, and energy policy. At COP29, she led KPMG’s climate finance program and developed a gender-lens climate finance training program for asset managers and asset owners to integrate gender considerations into climate finance. Prior to KPMG, she was a Senior Policy Advisor to Canada’s Deputy Minister of Natural Resources. She also designed multi-million dollar energy innovation programs and coordinated global energy R&D networks.
