Leann Balbona

Leann is a Tax Managing Director in KPMG in the US’ Global Reward Services where she serves as the Leader for Global Equity Tracker (GET) technology deployments and client service delivery. She also leads alliances, relationships and integration efforts with share plan administrators in the Rewards area. Leann has over 25 years of experience assisting organizations with cross border equity tax, payroll and global mobility issues. She has helped clients of all sizes navigate the equity tax, policy and HR issues that arise when delivering equity and incentive awards to individuals that work around the world. She has developed award-winning business strategies and objectives for her clients’ mobile and broader equity reward programs recognized by trade organizations, Global Equity Organization and Forum for Expatriate Management. Leann sits on the board of the Global Equity Organization and is regular speaker on equity and technology topics. In 2019, she was recognized as a Global Equity Fellow for her efforts in the equity industry for automation and mobility technology. In 2013, Leann was inducted into the New York City YWCA Academy of Women Leaders.
