Gauthier is the Head of Global Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) at KPMG. He works alongside KPMG teams to help clients accelerate their ESG transformation and become purpose-led, sustainable organizations. He is responsible for embedding ESG and sustainability across Audit, Advisory and Tax & Legal services, helping ensure ESG is integrated into core client solutions and service delivery.
Since 2022, he also serves as Global Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Global ESG practice, KPMG International. He has been instrumental in shaping KPMG firms’ ESG capabilities, operationalizing the global ESG strategy, strengthening governance and driving execution across the global organization. With more than 30 years of international professional services experience, he brings deep expertise in leading complex global audits and advising clients on regulatory compliance, financing transactions, IPOs and strategic acquisitions.
