Make complex data actionable
KPMG in Singapore's client is an international bank focused on fostering economic growth and promoting sustainable development in developing countries across Asia. The collection of climate data and geographical studies were initiated independently in each country, presenting communication challenges in keeping all parties aligned. Greater collaboration among multiple stakeholders was needed to standardize the data architecture, turn climate data into key insights for climate resilience initiatives and accelerate sustainable development decision-making.
Client transformation journey

Fragmented data collection
The bank collected maps and data within each country’s geographic boundaries and conducted independent studies. This complex approach presented several challenges for maintaining smooth communication and alignment among all parties.
Greater collaboration was required among multiple stakeholders, including public sector representatives, private financial institutions, climate specialists and the client’s operations team to enable stronger climate resilience initiatives and funding.
A collaborative multi-disciplinary approach
KPMG in Singapore adopted a multi-disciplinary approach to develop a Climate Intelligence platform that combines practical insights across climate resilience, AI design, and AI engineering. A custom multi-agent system enables the platform to dynamically process diverse geospatial and risk model datasets to generate insights for intuitive maps, AI-driven reports and scenario-based visualization. The system was built to scale and balances automated intelligence with human judgment and experience.
Faster decision-making, larger capital deployment and reduced risk
Decision-making accelerated — in some cases, from one year to one month — turning boardroom reviews into dynamic, on-demand insights. A standardized architecture for integrating and analyzing climate data from multiple projects and countries made funding opportunities more accessible.
How we make the difference
Investors and funding organizations that operate across diverse countries and stakeholders contribute valuable but often independently developed data. KPMG in Singapore’s custom multi-agent AI system addressed this concern by turning complex data into aligned and actionable intelligence.
