In December 2018, the Thai government enacted the new IBC regime as a replacement for the previous International Headquarter (IHQ), Regional Operating Headquarters (ROH) and International Trading Center (ITC) regimes.  The IBC regime was introduced to comply with the implementation plan of the OECD's Inclusive Framework on Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) joined by Thailand, and presents a number of fiscal and non-fiscal benefits to multinational businesses.
