KPMG in Singapore is committed to reducing our impact on the environment. We actively address environmental challenges and empower our people and clients to seek progress in balance with the health of our planet.
We're committed to becoming a net-zero organisation by 2030. To help keep global warming within the 1.5°C limit, we are focused on achieving a 50% reduction in direct and indirect greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions across KPMG by 2030.
Additionally, KPMG firms have collectively committed to:
- 100% renewable electricity by 2022 in its Board Countries, and by 2030 for the wider network
- Offsetting any remaining GHG emissions through externally accredited voluntary carbon offsets to mitigate the remainder they cannot remove from operations and supply chains
Our Impact Plan
In 2021, KPMG announced its multi-year programme to accelerate global solutions for ESG issues. The firm plans to spend more than US$1.5 billion over the next three years focusing on training KPMG’s workforce, harnessing data, developing new technologies and forging alliances.
The ESG strategy is designed to support KPMG firms’ clients in making a positive difference. Importantly, this strategy is underpinned by KPMG’s recognition of its responsibility to improve its impact on the world and the ESG commitments outlined in Our Impact Plan.
