For the first time in history, five generations are working side by side. The global work population is the most age-diverse it’s ever been, with millennials forming the largest proportion. As a multi-generational workforce, we are committed to creating a culture where everyone belongs. Our goal is to redesign roles and promote programmes that strengthen the passion, skills and talents of all employees to make extraordinary things happen.
Progressive Wage Programme (PWP)
KPMG seeks to actively close the wage gap of lower-wage employees by redesigning jobs. We ensure that our increment for employees earning below S$2,000 is higher than the National Wages Council’s recommendation and are focused on building opportunities for our essential staff.
Take Charge: Flexi-work
As part of our Take Charge: Flexi-work initiative launched in 2019, our employees are able to work flexibly to deliver their business goals while balancing personal responsibilities and priorities. Our flexible working arrangement includes flexible locations, working patterns, time-outs and hours. Other forms of support that encourages our people to flourish in both their professional and personal lives include examination leave for graduates.
Take Charge: Career Mobility Connection
Priorities shift as we enter different stages of our lives. Through our Take Charge initiative, KPMG in Singapore employees are able to explore different growth opportunities in the form of internal secondment and transfers and global opportunities. We believe that opening doors to new opportunities within the firm is pivotal in helping our employees realise their career aspirations, while retaining our top talent.
