Henry Mavrodin

Născut la 31 iulie 1937 în Bucureşti, pictorul Henry Mavrodin a urmat în perioada 1953-1957 Şcoala medie de Arte Plastice, iar între 1957-1963, Institutul de Arte Nicolae Grigorescu din Bucureşti.

A fost profesor de desen şi pictură la Universitatea Naţională de Arte Bucureşti (1991-2001), decanul Facultăţii de Istoria şi Teoria Artei Universitatea Naţională de Arte Bucureşti (1996-2001), profesor la Universitatea Naţională de Teatru şi Film din Bucureşti (2001-2006). A predat cursuri la Facultatea de Filologie, Universitatea din Bucureşti, la Universitatea de Arhitectură şi Urbanism Ion Mincu din Bucureşti.

De-a lungul carierei a avut expoziţii personale în România, Italia, Suedia, Ungaria, Franţa.
Lucrări personale sunt expuse în Muzeul de artă contemporană, Moderna Museet din Stockholm, Suedia.

Born on July 31, 1937 in Bucharest, painter Henry Mavrodin attended the Fine Arts Secondary School between 1953-1957, and the Nicolae Grigorescu Art Institute in Bucharest between 1957-1963.

He was a professor of drawing and painting at the National University of Arts Bucharest (1991-2001), the dean of the Faculty of History and Theory of Art at the National University of Arts Bucharest (1996-2001), a professor at the National University of Theater and Film in Bucharest (2001- 2006). He taught courses at the Faculty of Philology, University of Bucharest, at the Ion Mincu University of Architecture and Urbanism in Bucharest.

Throughout his career he had personal exhibitions in Romania, Italy, Sweden, Hungary, France.

Personal works are exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art, Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Sweden.
