ESMA publishes translations of marketing communications guidelines
Further to our fund distribution alert of 31 May 2021, ESMA has now published the relevant translations of the guidelines on marketing communications under the regulations on cross-border distribution of Funds. The publication of these translations on 2 August 2021 means that the guidelines become effective within 6 months for UCITS funds and AIFs distributed in the European Union, i.e. on 2 February 2022.
