Joel Zernask

Joel joined KPMG in 2001 and since 2007 he has led tax services at KPMG Baltics. Joel is one of the highest ranked tax experts in Estonia. He is well respected by the business community, the Ministry of Finance and the Estonian tax authorities. Thus, he is well qualified to achieve favorable solutions and mutually beneficial agreements. During his career at KPMG in Estonia, Joel has participated in numerous tax and legal advisory projects at both national and international level. His areas of expertise include global tax planning, M&A transactions, and group restructuring. Joel has often spoken at training sessions and discussed tax related issues in various publications. He is also participating in several working groups involved in business development and tax legislative drafting.
