Between 2015 and 2017 James worked for KPMG in San Francisco in BCRE (Building, Construction and Real Estate) and Alternative Investments including servicing VC funds and technology companies in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area. James also gained experience undertaking a significant SOX project on a key global client whilst working in San Francisco as a director in Internal Audit.
In his role as a partner of the Crown Dependencies’ firm he leads the audits of a wide range of international and local clients with an RE focus but also clients across the financial services sector (banking, hedge, PE, other investment vehicles), non FS and technology. James is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) with significant experience in IFRS, US GAAP and FRS 102.
