      Bangkok, Thailand, 25 September 2026 – KPMG in Thailand today announced that Abhisit Pinmaneekul has been elected Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective 1 October 2026.

      Abhisit succeeds Charoen Phosamritlert, who will retire from the firm on 30 September 2026 after serving as CEO of KPMG in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos since 2019.

      Prior to being CEO-elect, Abhisit served as Head of Tax and previously led the Tax Practice. A longstanding member of our leadership team, he brings extensive experience and business insight, together with a proven ability to develop talent, build strong teams and drive business growth. He has played a key role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction and advancing the long-term success of KPMG in Thailand, Myanmar and Laos.

      In an economic and business environment increasingly shaped by a polycrisis, leadership today requires resilience, agility and a clear vision to navigate uncertainty and guide organizations toward sustainable growth. Abhisit has demonstrated these qualities throughout his leadership journey, while remaining firmly committed to trust, quality and long-term value creation.
