In conducting business operations in Thailand, it is essential to navigate systems and business practices that differ from those in Japan—an issue commonly faced by Japanese management teams. This seminar is designed to provide a comprehensive and efficient one-day program covering the fundamental knowledge of accounting, taxation, and legal matters necessary for business operations in Thailand.
In addition to the core sessions, this year’s seminar will also focus on the increasingly prevalent issue of accounting fraud. We will examine reports issued by third-party investigation committees, explaining the actual circumstances, underlying causes, key points for interpreting such reports, and practical insights through case studies.
Furthermore, under the theme of “Common Challenges Faced by Japanese Management at Overseas Subsidiaries,” experts from various fields will engage in discussions incorporating real-world perspectives. Topics will include responses to tax audits, communication with headquarters and local staff, and challenges within administrative functions.
This seminar is designed to be beneficial not only for those who have recently been assigned to Thailand but also for those who have been working here for many years. We hope it will serve as an opportunity to revisit fundamental practices while staying updated on the latest trends and case studies in a concise manner.
