      Job description

       

      The Corporate Communications & PR professional will support KPMG in Thailand’s market reputation, executive visibility, and thought leadership positioning through public relations, media engagement, executive communications, and content development.

      The role requires a strong communicator who can independently research, develop, and draft high-quality communications materials in Thai and English based on direction from business leaders and subject matter experts.


      Roles and responsibilities

      • Execute marketing communications and PR activities across KPMG in Thailand, and coordinate support for KPMG in Myanmar and Laos
      • Develop and review communications materials in Thai and English, including press releases, thought leadership articles, executive speeches, talking points, media statements, newsletters, and social media content
      • Conduct research on business, economics, industry, and emerging topics to support content development, executive communications, and thought leadership initiatives
      • Manage media relations, including maintaining media contacts, handling inquiries, coordinating interviews, and supporting press engagements
      • Identify and coordinate media opportunities, speaking engagements, and executive visibility initiatives
      • Prepare briefing materials, key messages, and supporting research for media interviews and leadership engagements
      • Monitor media coverage and industry developments, providing insights and recommendations to improve communications effectiveness
      • Localize global and regional communications and thought leadership content in compliance with brand and regulatory standards
      • Coordinate development of communications materials and marketing collateral with internal and external stakeholders
      • Support crisis communications and reputation management activities

      Qualifications and Skills

      • Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, journalism, executive communications, or a related field, preferably in B2B, consulting, professional services, financial services, or corporate environments
      • Strong writing and editing skills in both Thai and English, with experience developing press releases, executive speeches, thought leadership articles, media materials, or business content
      • Demonstrated ability to translate complex business, industry, economic, regulatory, or technical topics into clear and compelling communications
      • Strong experience managing media relations, journalist relationships, and executive media engagements
      • Strong research capability and ability to synthesize information from multiple sources
      • Experience supporting executive communications or thought leadership initiatives is an advantage
      • Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
      • Excellent command of spoken and written Thai and English
      • Proactive, adaptable, detail-oriented, and accountable, with a strong sense of ownership
