KPMG in Thailand’s Clients & Markets team focuses on developing, supporting, and enhancing data‑driven insights and structured reporting processes that enable the sustainable growth of the firm, strengthen client engagement strategies, and improve commercial decision‑making effectiveness.
Roles and responsibilities
You will contribute to the firm by delivering structured client and market intelligence, developing scalable reporting frameworks, and providing analytical support to leadership. Key responsibilities include:
- Performing in‑depth analysis of client portfolio performance, revenue trends, and service mix to identify growth opportunities and commercial insights
- Conducting market, industry, and competitor analysis to support strategic positioning and business development initiatives
- Developing and maintaining structured reporting frameworks and dashboards using Excel and Power BI
- Designing data models, mappings, and calculation logic to ensure reporting accuracy and consistency
- Preparing clear, concise, and well‑structured executive‑level presentation materials (PowerPoint) to communicate insights and business implications
- Translating complex datasets into meaningful insights and actionable recommendations for management
- Performing data validation, reconciliation, and cleaning to ensure data integrity and reliability
- Identifying opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and strengthen data structures
- Working closely with management as a business partner and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to support the firm’s commercial and strategic agenda
- Responding to ad‑hoc analytical requests in a dynamic and fast‑paced business environment
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or related fields.
- 1–3+ years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, financial analysis, or market intelligence within professional services, financial institutions, or related industries
- Strong analytical thinking with the ability to structure complex data into clear and meaningful insights
- Proficiency in MS Office (advanced Excel and PowerPoint required)
- Experience developing dashboards using Power BI (M‑Code, DAX)
- Experience in data manipulation using Python (e.g., pandas, NumPy) is a plus
- Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and accountability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively under high expectations
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain analytical findings clearly and confidently
- Excellent command of spoken and written English and Thai
