Job description
KPMG’s Risk Consulting team is part of KPMG Advisory specializing in helping our clients enhance the internal controls, risk management, governance, and compliance of their operations. By deploying multidisciplinary teams of experienced professionals, we provide solutions focused on optimizing risk and improving end-to-end processes.
As an Intern, you will gain hands-on experience by supporting consulting projects in areas such as Internal Audit, Internal Controls, Corporate Governance, Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), IPO Readiness, Sustainability, and Regulatory Compliance. You will work alongside experienced professionals and develop practical skills in business process analysis, risk assessment, project delivery, and client service.
Roles and responsibilities
- Assist project teams in gathering, organizing, and reviewing client information and supporting documentation
- Support business process documentation and assist in preparing risk and control narratives based on walkthroughs and discussions with clients and engagement teams
- Assist in preparing working papers, reports, presentation materials, and other project deliverables
- Conduct research on industry practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging risk-related topics
- Collaborate with team members and assist with ad hoc assignments as required
Qualifications and Skills
- 3rd – 4th year students or fresh graduates in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance
- Analytical skills with a creative problem-solving approach
- Ability to describe business processes clearly and identify challenges and solutions
- Developing a business mindset, aligning risk management with business objectives
- Client-focused mindset with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with audit/risk management software is a plus.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Thai
