Job description
KPMG in Thailand’s Financial Risk Management (FRM) Banking Advisory team advises financial institutions and corporate clients on risk management, data analytics, quantitative modeling, and technology-enabled transformation. Our projects span a wide range of topics including risk analytics, predictive modeling, treasury and risk management, regulatory compliance, and data-driven decision making.
We are looking for motivated interns who are passionate about data, analytics, and problem solving, and are eager to gain hands-on experience by working alongside experienced professionals on real client engagements.
Roles and responsibilities
- Support project teams in data analytics, data science, and quantitative risk management engagements
- Assist in data extraction, cleansing, validation, and preparation of structured and unstructured data for analysis
- Perform data exploration and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and business insights
- Support the development, testing, and documentation of statistical, predictive, and machine learning models under the guidance of experienced consultants
- Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and analytical outputs for client engagements
- Collaborate with business, risk, and technology teams to support project activities and deliverables
- Work closely with consultants on real client projects while developing analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Qualifications and Skills
- 3rd – 4th year students in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or related fields
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English and Thai
- Proficiency in programming and data tools
- Strong PowerPoint skills
- Strong communication and presentation capability
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet tight deadline
