Job description
As organization grow in size and complexity due to expansion and investment in both domestic and international markets, our clients, multinational and Thai corporations are seeking our advice to support their corporate M&A and investment strategies. KPMG Corporate Finance is looking for ambitious professionals to join our successful Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) team in Bangkok. In this function, you will advise clients from different sectors in complex transactions – from deal origination to closing.
Roles and responsibilities
- Origination and execution of buy- & sell-side M&A projects, fundraising, joint venture assistance, business strategy, market entry studies, and pricing analysis
- Participate in complex and multidisciplinary projects and provide key advice on deal considerations including structuring, pricing and negotiation advice team members in the daily deal execution
- Drafting, developing and reviewing of transaction documents, information memorandum, business plan, financial model and valuation by various approaches using a wide range of research tools for market and company analysis
- Coordination with client and relevant parties in M&A activities and participation in high quality client presentations
- Perform industry researches and market analyses and contribute to KPMG M&A publications
- Actively develop, monitor, mentor and coach team members and junior members by demonstrating appropriate behavior and delegate where appropriate
- Identify areas for development and proactively seek opportunities for greater responsibility to increase skill set and build on existing strengths
- Create a visible presence within KPMG and the external market, increasing interactivity across teams and with clients
Qualifications and Skills
- Corporate finance, investment bank, project finance advisory experience acquired with banks, professional firms and corporations
- Experience in M&A, Business Valuation and Financial Modeling
- Analytically minded, solution-orientated and demonstration of entrepreneurial thinking
- Ability to work on a range of projects simultaneously to demanding timetables
- Personal drive and integrity to deliver results within tight deadlines
- Strong communication and presentation capability
- Ability to thrive in an international environment
- Passing CFA exam for any level is an advantage
- Strong proficiency in MS Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent analytical, problem solving and project management skills
- Fluency in English, both speaking and writing skills
