      Job description

      In this role, you will design and lead complex integration solutions between D365 F&SCM and external systems, leveraging Power Platform and APIs. You’ll translate business needs into technical designs, ensure scalable and secure integrations, and troubleshoot cross-system issues while guiding best practices and mentoring junior team members.

      This is a strong opportunity to work on end-to-end integration architectures, deepen your expertise in D365 and enterprise integration patterns, and take on a more strategic, leadership-focused role within delivery teams.

      Roles and responsibilities

      • Design and develop complex integration solutions between D365 F&SCM and multiple external/legacy systems
      • Lead implementation using:
        • D365 F&SCM (Data Entities, OData, DMF, Custom Services)
        • Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse)
        • REST APIs and external services
      • Translate business requirements into technical design and integration specifications
      • Apply appropriate integration patterns:
        • Real-time vs batch
        • API-based and asynchronous integration
      • Collaborate with functional teams and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business requirements
      • Perform code reviews and drive development best practices
      • Troubleshoot and resolve cross-system issues, including production incidents
      • Ensure integration solutions are:
        • Scalable
        • Secure
        • Maintainable
      • Contribute to technical design artifacts:
        • Integration design
        • Data mapping
        • Solution documentation
      • Support deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)
      • Mentor junior team members

      Qualifications and Skills

       

      Must-have

      • 4–8 years of experience in software development or system integration
      • Hands-on experience with:
        • D365 F&SCM (or AX) integration
        • Power Platform (Power Automate / Power Apps)
      • Strong development skills in X++
      • Solid understanding of:
        • OOP and clean architecture
        • REST APIs, JSON
        • SQL and data modeling
      • Experience with:
        • D365 integration frameworks (Data Entities, OData, DMF)
        • Debugging and root cause analysis across systems
      • Proficiency in Git and collaborative development workflows
      • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and functional stakeholders

       

      Nice-to-have

      • Experience with Azure Integration Services (Logic Apps, Service Bus)
      • Familiarity with integration architecture concepts (event-driven, messaging)
      • Exposure to Finance or Supply Chain processes
      • Experience with CI/CD, DevOps, and Agile delivery
