The Qubus Platform is a software product owned, developed and maintained by KPMG Qubus Competence Center in The Netherlands. Qubus provides a generic platform for rapid development of tailored case management applications with advanced workflow options and strict role-based access to information. It is available both as a SaaS solution with hosting in West Europe, or through a Software License Agreement to be deployed on IT infrastructure of the licensee's choice.

Qubus-based solutions have been applied for different purposes in many business sectors, for example:

dossier reviews and remediation trajectories (to facilitate the creation, review and analysis of case files);
compliance assessments and regulatory inspections (providing an environment in which different parties can work together while maintaining a strict separation of roles);
maturity scans (on topics such as cyber security and agile maturity);
quality and readiness (self-)assessments (covering standards such as CobIT and ISO 27001 controls).

A Qubus tool is always tailored to the case at hand, adopting the process steps, roles and terminology that the client is familiar with.

What Qubus has to offer

Workflow management
Any type of business process can be easily converted into a Qubus workflow through a simple, user-friendly, intuitive environment with drag-and-drop functionality for building workflows.

Role-based authorizations
Access to information is granted based on users’ role requirements, ensuring they can only view content relevant to their role and enabling proper workflow execution.

Data input through questionnaires
Information is collected through hierarchically structured questionnaires, that provide many data collection options (e.g. multiple choice, free text, attachments) and business logic aimed at minimizing the effort required from users.

Reporting
The goal of data gathering through Qubus is to generate insights, present findings and recommendations, and/or produce management information in the form of reports that can be easily created from the application itself. Other types of data extraction, e.g. graphical presentations through PowerBI, are supported as well.

Implementation Services

The most common scenario is that the Qubus team is in charge of translating the client's requirements to a fully working Qubus solution. We take care of configuring Qubus and preparing any customizations (in terms of functionality or look & feel) that may be needed. If preferred, part of the content management work can be done together with or mostly by client team members.

Hosting Services

Launch your Qubus project quickly with our secure hosting service, where we take care of platform availability and technical maintenance. Prefer to keep everything in-house? Qubus is also available as licensed software:

SaaS: The Qubus Platform is hosted on internet-facing servers provided by KPMG The Netherlands, that are subject to KPMG maintenance and security policies & practices.
Self-hosted: For clients who do not wish to make use of KPMG's hosting services but would like to adopt the Qubus Platform nonetheless, we offer the option to acquire an Enterprise License. This allows them to install Qubus on their own IT infrastructure or that of a selected third-party service provider. In this set-up, the Qubus team does not carry out technical maintenance tasks, however we do provide ad-hoc support to the client's IT department when necessary.

Training and Support

Our support team is ready to help you when you need it. We provide 1^st- and/or 2nd-line support to end users, end user training if required, and workshops for clients who wish to maintain their Qubus project themselves.
