The 2026 DMA Benchmark Analysis examines how gatekeepers’ compliance and profiling practices are evolving across reporting cycles. Based on Article 11 and Article 15 reports and European Commission enforcement developments, it compares changes across gatekeepers. The findings show differing disclosure styles, but broadly similar approaches: gatekeepers are refining existing measures rather than introducing fundamentally new ones. Updates are mostly targeted, incremental, and linked to specific DMA obligations or regulatory focus areas. This suggests DMA compliance is developing partly through enforcement-driven adjustments, raising a strategic question: will compliance remain reactive and standardized, or become more proactive, differentiated and evidence-driven?
