As one of the world's leading professional services organizations, we believe it is important for us to give back to our community. Corporate citizenship projects are at the heart of our values and become the driver for our people to solve challenging issues related to poverty and child education.

On the other side, by having these corporate citizenship projects, we are committed to creating an environment where our people can have opportunities to make their mark by creating a meaningful impact on the community through upholding KPMG Indonesia’s four key corporate citizenship themes –Children, Education, Community and Environment at our “Together We Care” programs.

Children and Education (Early Childhood Education)

We support early childhood education or Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini (PAUD) as we believe that good quality education for young children is a foundation for building a dynamic society. Since 2014, KPMG has been helping to meet the needs of underserved children via our PAUD initiatives.

Currently, KPMG offers financial aid to several PAUDs in the poorer sections of Jakarta and in smaller cities in Indonesia to improve education facilities for young children. So far, we have helped to improve learning facilities for more than 200 young children and provided financial assistance for a PAUD teacher to continue her studies.

Community

We play an important supporting role in contributing to the well-being of our surrounding communities. Our people work with individuals and local community groups to make these areas a better place to live.

Environment

We are committed to reducing paper use through numerous green initiatives and the digitalization of our reports, forms and other documents. Various people program initiatives are also designed to focus on creating a better world in the future that aligns with our ESG impact plans for example by having an eco-enzyme movement, mangrove replantation action, etc.
