What does the programme include?
‘Access’ is a 4 month programme that brings together the next Emerging Giants of business. Each cohort includes fast-growing start-ups from across the UK, all with the credentials, drive and ambition to take their business to the next level.
‘Access’ has been designed to support start-ups through the most exciting, and critical phase of their journey – the road to Series A fundraise. It will provide founders with unprecedented access to the experience, knowledge, and resources that KPMG can offer – both UK wide and globally. Participants will have access to KPMG expertise, insights, and support; opportunities to create trusted and supportive networks via a curated cohort of peers, and to hear from industry and start-up leaders. As an ‘Access’ cohort member, you’ll receive bespoke support, tailor-made to the relevant needs of your business, including:
- A dedicated cohort lead who will live and breathe your business, get to know your CEO and senior management team, and assist with strategic introductions.
- Dedicated support from our Acceleris team, supporting you on your fundraise journey.
- A series of focused masterclasses to support you to prepare to go to market. It will take founders through a series of practical modules centered around a Series A raise, delivered by KPMG Acceleris as well as VCs. You will receive tailored advice from KPMG experts across Tax, Legal and Corporate Finance. We will also bring in entrepreneurs who have gone before to share their learnings and experiences.
- An online community to share experiences and collaborate with each other – KPMG Beyond.
Who is it for?
This programme is specifically for fast growing and highly ambitious businesses that are looking for support as they approach their Series A round. Access is created for businesses who hit this below criteria:
- Looking to launch a > £2m Series A raise in 6-12 months from UK VCs?
- On track to achieve c £1m ARR or >£4m Non-Recurring Revenue at the time of raising?
- Have a disruptive and innovative business model, with ambitious growth plans
- Are a UK registered company, and not majority owned by a corporate
- Looking for advice and support before embarking on a fundraising process?

What support will I get?
KPMG has been working with and supporting businesses to grow for 150 years. Our Emerging Giants team gives you access to the combined technical knowledge and first-hand experience of experts across our networks. KPMG Private Enterprise Access is a shared investment between you and us. Upon joining one of our ‘Access’ cohorts you will receive a range of support which will include the following:
- A dedicated Emerging Giants cohort lead who will be your day-to-day contact with KPMG allowing you to maximise the value from the programme, as well as a dedicated Acceleris contact who will focus on supporting you prepare for your raise.
- A series of focused masterclasses to support you to prepare to go to market. It will take founders through a series of practical modules centered around a Series A raise, delivered by KPMG Acceleris as well as VCs, supplemented with the opportunity to learn from entrepreneurs who have gone before as well as receiving tailored advice from KPMG experts across Tax, Legal and Corporate Finance.
- Access to KPMG Beyond – a digital platform designed to help you build powerful connections, access the latest curated insights and network with peers.
What is my commitment?
Upon joining one of our cohort groups we will require you to:
- Adhere to all requests around non-disclosure of confidential or commercially sensitive information whilst participating in group sessions.
- Attend all masterclasses, support your other cohort members, and to help build a community of future tech titans.
- Be available to attend all dates, which will be provided in advance over the 4 month progamme. This is 4 x short days in London, a dinner and 3 x 30-60 minute virtual meetings.
