Ignatius is the Africa Chairman and CEO of KPMG in Africa. He has over 22 years of experience within the Financial Services industry and has served in numerous positions as well as several board memberships in his career. These include serving as the Committee Chairman for the Audit Committee of the Public Investment Corporation (PIC), Chairman of the Risk and Capital Management Committee for African Bank, Chairman of Audit committee of National Treasury, Director for the Thuthuka Education Upliftment Fund Directors Committee, Audit committee member of DBSA, Audit Committee chair of Old Mutual, member of Accounting Standard Board as well as a Committee Member for the Audit Committee and Nominating Committee of IFAC. He is also a member of the Specialist Committee on Company Law. He has held positions with several companies including Transnet Ltd, Fedics Food Services, Murray & Roberts, PricewaterhouseCoopers and MTN. Previously he served as the Executive President of SAICA for two consecutive terms.
