      • Confidential Discussion
      • Depth over scale
      • Strategic Focus

Are you defining the future of cyber security or trying to keep up with it?

Cyber leaders today sit at the centre of business resilience, transformation, and risk. The challenge is no longer just defending the enterprise, it’s enabling progress while navigating constant uncertainty.

i‑4 is a peer‑led community for senior cyber leaders (including CISOs, Deputy CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, Chief Privacy Officers/DPOs, Heads of Security, Risk and Technology, and their leadership teams). Since its launch 40 years ago, i‑4 has brought together trusted practitioners from across industries and regions to share real‑world experience, challenge assumptions, and explore what leadership looks like next - without sales, or noise.

Members engage through confidential forums, regional briefings, and global executive discussions focused on the issues that genuinely matter.

With peers facing the same challenges and decisions, i-4 is your trusted environment to explore how others respond to the ever changing threat landscape.

Why cyber leaders are turning to trusted peer networks

Cyber leaders are operating in an environment defined by rapid change, increasing complexity and heightened accountability. Traditional approaches are no longer sufficient on their own. Trusted peer networks provide a confidential space where leaders can sense‑check decisions, learn from real‑world experience and stay ahead of emerging risks together.

      Accelerating and complex threat landscape

The cyber threat landscape is evolving faster than ever, with attacks becoming more sophisticated, targeted and disruptive. CISOs are increasingly expected to anticipate threats that may not yet be widely understood across the industry. Trusted peer networks allow cyber leaders to exchange real‑world threat intelligence and lessons learned with others facing the same challenges, offering early warning, practical insight and a clearer view of what is coming next.

      AI‑driven and emerging technology risk

AI, automation and emerging technologies are rapidly transforming organisations and fundamentally reshaping cyber risk. Cyber leaders are under pressure to enable innovation while managing ethical, security and resilience concerns, often without established playbooks. Peer networks enable leaders to explore AI‑driven risk, governance questions and real‑world experiences openly with others navigating similar uncertainty.

      Regulatory and board‑level pressure

Cyber accountability at board and executive level continues to increase, alongside expanding regulatory and compliance expectations. CISOs must justify investment, demonstrate maturity and communicate risk clearly to non‑technical stakeholders. Engaging with trusted peers allows leaders to benchmark their approaches, test narratives and strengthen board‑level conversations with confidence.

      Trusted, confidential peer dialogue

Many cyber challenges are difficult to discuss openly within an organisation or through vendor‑led forums. Cyber leaders are often required to make high‑impact decisions quickly, based on incomplete or emerging information. Trusted peer networks provide confidential, non‑sales environments for candid dialogue, experience sharing and practical problem‑solving with senior leaders who understand the realities of the role.

      i-4 Member Testimonials

What sets i‑4 apart is the quality of the conversations. It’s one of the few environments where senior cyber leaders can speak openly about what’s actually happening - not what should be happening. The trust, confidentiality, and peer calibre make it genuinely valuable.

Most cyber forums prioritise scale and visibility; i‑4 prioritises substance. The discussions are deliberately small, senior, and focused on the decisions we’re actually making as leaders - not vendor narratives or surface‑level trends.

Every i‑4 event I’ve attended has been directly relevant to the challenges I’m facing in role. There’s no posturing or theory - just experienced leaders sharing what’s worked, what hasn’t, and why. It’s rare to find that level of honesty and practicality.
