KPMG UK has announced the appointment of Philip Shields as a Managing Director to lead the Real Estate Corporate Finance practice.
Philip joins the firm from investment bank Panmure Gordon where he led the Real Estate M&A practice. He has over 20 years of Real Estate investment banking experience across London, New York, and Sydney, and has advised on numerous transactions spanning both M&A and capital raising assignments.
Philip's recent work includes advising on the £350 million Life Sciences REIT IPO.
In his new role, Philip will work as part of both the Corporate Finance and Debt Advisory practices, and with KPMG UK’s wider multi-disciplinary real estate offering.
