KPMG UK has appointed Noeleen Cowley as Head of its Financial Services Consulting practice. Noeleen replaces Lisa Fernihough who took on the role as Chief People Officer at the firm earlier this month.
As the Head of Financial Services Consulting, Noeleen will oversee more than 2,000 consultants who work with financial institutions on issues ranging from fraud prevention, payments transformation, climate stress testing, to digital transformation.
Noeleen has been with KPMG’s Financial Services function for 13 years, specialising in large-scale capital markets and banking transformations. With ESG rapidly becoming one of the biggest challenges facing the industry, Noeleen established the firm’s Financial Services ESG business in 2020.
David Rowlands, Partner and Head of Consulting at KPMG UK, said: “Noeleen is a wonderful leader, and is the natural fit to continue to grow this part of our business. She brings almost two decades of in-depth experience in Financial Services and is well respected by clients and colleagues alike.”
Noeleen Cowley, Partner and Head of Financial Services Consulting at KPMG UK, said: “I’m delighted to take on this role at a time when our clients are relying on our talented team of advisors to help them navigate the increasing geopolitical and regulatory uncertainty. With the right support our clients can adapt, transform and thrive.”
